Stellantis will increase its software development and engineering capabilities with 8 centers, creating a new headquarters in Poland. Stellantis works with GlobalLogic Inc., a digital engineering service provider, to recruit talent and quickly create the Polish Software Hub. The location of the Hub takes advantage of the technical and university training facilities in the region and adds software development resources to Stellantis' technical activities already in Europe.

The Polish Software Hub team will focus primarily on the development of core software and software applications, DevOps, and automated validation.

"The inauguration of this new Software Hub in Poland is a further milestone in the implementation of our Dare Forward 2030 strategy," said Yves Bonnefont, Chief Software Officer at Stellantis. "Software is critical to achieving the goal of becoming a leader in the customer experience of services and products, as well as our revolutionary commitment to zero carbon emissions by 2038."

Stellantis currently has 8 software development centers in 7 countries, including:

  • Brazil – Pernambuco
  • France – Poissy
  • Germany – Rüsselsheim
  • India – Bengaluru and Hyderabad
  • Italy – Turin
  • Poland – Gliwice
  • USA – Auburn Hills, MI

The Polish team will contribute to the global software creation network, a key element for Stellantis in the creation of software-defined vehicles capable of offering, throughout their useful life, customer-centric functionality, including upgrades and features that will be added years after the vehicle is produced.

'Creating an infrastructure within our vehicles that easily and smoothly adapts to driver expectations is a key element of Stellantis' global commitment to delivering state-of-the-art mobility,' said Tara Vatcher, Stellantis's Senior Vice President, Software Architecture and Development.
